VanBer came to us to help them showcase their new vegan backpacks, made of very special Desserto Cactus Leather.

The most important points were highlighting the uniqueness of their product, their brand values, and the lifestyle that comes with VanBer, all in a cost efficient way.

IDEA

We follow the story of a typical day in the life of Teun. We see him connecting with nature and staying active in the morning, commuting through luscious neighborhoods and the bustling city centre on his way to work, and entering his office building.

The backpack is highlighted in each setting, showing viewers how they can implement VanBer’s products into their own routines.

Throughout the video we included product shots filmed in a studio. These shots showcase the different features of the bag such as the innovative material, Desserto Cactus Leather.

EFFICIENCY

For us, dynamic doesn’t mean difficult. We shot this film at at four different locations, with multiple looks and themes, all in one day.

 

 
 
 

EXECUTION

To keep the timeline for this project focused and effective, we chose to work with a compact crew and our own gear. From day one at FALSUM, we have been strong believers in investing in gear and talent.

Studio shots added an extra layer of distinction between the rugged outdoors, the energy of a city and the soft lines and textures of the backpack.

We shot the outdoor scenes in Rotterdam throughout different parts of the city, focusing especially on the business district and green neighbourhoods.
